News?

Both girls have some nasty colds right now. Let's just say if snot were money, I'd be so freakin' rich I wouldn't even know what to do with myself.

Abby was up extremely early this morning (3 a.m.) and went back to sleep for a little while. She took a so-so nap. Anni refused to nap at all. I put both girls to bed early tonight, mostly to give my ears a break from the tone of the day (read: excessive whining). The upstairs is really warm tonight and Abby woke up and crawled into our bed. I laid there with her for a few minutes and then she said she wanted to go downstairs. Normally, I'm a stickler for bedtime, but honestly, it's been a heckuva day, I'm tired and hot, and she's just not sleeping.

On the way downstairs, however, I informed Miss Abigail that she could go downstairs, but she and I would simply be sitting on the couch. She nodded and said, hopefully, "And maybe watch a cartoon?" I said, "No. No cartoons." She nodded again and asked, "How bout a movie?" Again, I replied in the negative. In a last ditch effort, she asks"
