Meeting Great Grandpa

Great Grandpa Dahlquist was down in Florida when Hunter was born, so they didn't get a chance to meet each other until April, when Harold returned to Minnesota. One April afternoon, he and Grandpa Daryl stopped by to meet the little man.

Rainy Days

I have an inordinate love of rainy days. I especially love warm rainy days with lots of puddles. I have fond memories of my dad and I floating sticks down the gutters during a summer rainstorm when I was about 10. I can still picture it like it was yesterday.

The girls seem to be lovers of rainy days as well. Especially when they get to put on their puddle boots and go outside to stomp in all the puddles...and let me tell you, our sidewalk is perfect for the formation of puddles.

On this day, Anni and Hunter were napping when it started raining. Abby was dying to try out her new puddle boots, so the two of us went outside to break them in. Anni joined us after she woke up and the two of them had a good ole time.

Mail Call

Around Easter, the kids got a special delivery in the mail. Lizard sent them each a new bath towel. Abby got a unicorn, Anni got a flower and Hunter got a dinosaur. They're pretty cute, and the kids were more than happy to pose for a couple shots.

And Anni wanted a couple solo shots

Easter 2010

We had another busy Easter this year. It seems like we do a lot of running around on holidays. Lots of people to see and food to eat. The kids, as always, were troopers for our many starts and stops.

We started the day with an Easter egg hunt at home. Then we went off to Nana and Papa's for breakfast, made a stop at Jeannie's to visit Grandpa Dan and the Paradise crew and then ended the day over at Uncle Donnie's for lunch and another Easter egg hunt. The girls made quite the haul this year. I think Easter might be a close second to Halloween in the wide world of treats.

Elena's 2!

WAY back in April, Miss Elena Larson turned a whopping 2 years old! We got invited to the party, because that's the kind of people we are, you know, Party People?! Here are a couple photos from the hoopla:

Whew!

We've had a very busy end of the year! School finished up, dance recitals are done and Hunter's 4 months old! I've got a slew of posts coming your way, so stay tuned!
