Why Not?
Abigail Elizabeth has a new favorite phrase...why not? The first time she asked me that, I just sort of looked at her. I wasn't sure if she knew what she was asking. Then she asked me again why she couldn't do whatever it was she wanted to do. The great thing about this particular phrase is that Abby doesn't necessarily understand the answers to her question, so she gets to just keep asking it. I will admit, I've resorted to the age-old adage...because I said so.

Why not indeed Abigail? Way to go Mom.......its an age old adage because we older Moms (and our Mom's prior to us...and so forth..) have all used it and at this tender age, fairly successfully. Why not at 15 is a bit more tricky. Try practicing this: "How important is learning to drive a car to you?" That seemed to work :)
