Abby's 2!

Abby had her birthday party last weekend and I think she had lots of fun! She loved all her presents...especially those with a Dora theme. We can't get enough of Dora at the Schmidt household! On her birthday, Abby, Anni, Auntie Erin and I went to Como Zoo to ride the carousel. Both girls LOVED the ride. As soon as the ride ended, Abby took off running back to the line, saying, "more, more!" I think we rode 3 times before I officially had enough of the spinning. That is one fast carousel ride!

Abby had her 2-year checkup today and passed with flying colors. She never likes to actually get into the room, but once she was in there, no problem. Abby's still super tiny, but she's staying right on the same track, so no worries. She's in the 7th percentile for weight, tipping the scales at a little over 23 pounds. Around the 50th percentile for length and about the 75th for head circumference. The monkey goes in next month for her kidney tests, so hopefully she's grown enough that we can be done with the medicine protocol. If not, at least she's a trooper about taking her meds!
